ECG’s annual conference is only a few days away. This is the 1st physical event for 2 years and a record attendance is expected. The conference will take place in Brussels at the Tangla Hotel on 14-15th October.
As you would expect ECG is doing its best to organise a COVID-safe event based on the latest measures applicable here in Belgium and Brussels specifically.
According to the latest guidance from the Belgian Government as of 1st October events and conferences may be held indoors without specific measures if the number of people present is less than 500. Find our more here.
The Tangla Hotel, where the ECG Conference 2021 will take place, is equipped with a highly effective ventilation system that guarantees a “clean” atmosphere with constant fresh air flow. All areas are being constantly cleaned and sanitised. You may read more about the Tangla’s COVID19 measures here.
For planning your travel the ECG Secretariat advises participants to consult the official website including all relevant information. A vaccination, recovery or test certificate is normally required to enter Belgium along with the PLF form that most travellers have to fill in the 48 hours prior their arrival. Participants that travel to Belgium are kindly requested to find here the rules that apply to their country. Countries whose vaccination passports/certificates are accepted in Belgium are EU and Schengen countries plus England and Wales.
ECG is inviting those who haven’t yet confirmed their attendance at the ECG Conference to register with confidence. In case COVID-related issues (e.g. positive test, national travel restrictions) prevent you from attending the event we will fully refund you.
We are monitoring the situation closely and we will keep you up to date.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Brussels!
