Christian Fuss will be managing director of ProAct Europe, which UK-based supply chain software provider ProAct International is setting up in Germany.
Fuss has more than 25 years’ experience in supply chain management and automotive logistics, including as vice-president, head of supply chain management, Europe, Middle East, Russia and Africa with Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL). The shipping line has used ProAct software in its global finished vehicle business since 2003.
ProAct Europe will be based in Hamburg and complement ProAct Americas by providing “feet on the ground” in both continents to support clients with supply chain management and digitalisation, said ProAct, which is based in Denbigh, Wales.
The company says it will initially support ProAct Europe with resources from the UK while it builds a local support team.
Founded more than 30 years ago, software house ProAct International describes finished vehicle logistics as its largest market and opportunity.
